Hello, my name is Erica Robinson, and I am so excited to be starting my thirteenth year of teaching. This is my eleventh year at Ellisor.
I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2005 with a Bachelors in EC-4 RLA, and from Lamar University with a Masters in Administration/Educational Leadership. I have a dog named Rusty Sherlock Robinson, and he is a schnauzer-terrier mix, who is now ten years old.
I will be teaching the English/Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies components. My teaching partner, Jo Peek, will be teaching the Math and Science components. This year is going to be full of innovative, hands-on, collaborative, and creative learning.
We, as a classroom community, will be focusing on how to manipulate our previous learning into a fun-filled, cooperative environment. You will see your students flourish in all areas of learning, and they will achieve goals that the set for themselves.. As in previous years, my classes will continue to explore books and determine the purpose for reading them, but with a twist... I am looking forward to a year full of "new things," and will help your child achieve their goals.
