I am fortunate to serve Ellisor Elementary students.
The vision of the Magnolia I.S.D. Elementary School Counseling program is for our students to be independent, self advocating and productive community members.
The Magnolia I.S.D. Elementary School Counseling program will advocate and empower the whole child through social emotional learning by preparing lifelong learners to develop resiliency, academic potential, and future success.
I am so blessed to be the counselor at Ellisor Elementary. Prior to receiving my Master's Degree in Education from Sam Houston State University, I had experience as a classroom teacher for 4 years within the Magnolia Independent School District. As a Magnolia Alumni, I have lived in Magnolia since I was in Junior High. I eventually married my high school sweetheart, Rip, who was born and raised in Magnolia. We now have an eleven year old son, Bryton. We currently live here in Magnolia and love being a part of such an awesome community.
As a school counselor I address academic achievement, career planning, and personal/social development through:
- small group counseling
- individual counseling
- classroom/large group guidance
- student observations
- collaborating with parents, guardians, teachers, and all other stakeholders
- respond to school and emergency crisis
- provide referral resources to organizations and agencies in the community
If at anytime you need my assistance please don't hesitate to contact me at 281-252-7400 or firstname.lastname@example.org. I'm here to serve our students.
